Tribal Tales

maxi skirt and necklace: H&M/ top: Forever21
Give me anything called a long maxi skirt and you know I'll wear it.  This has been one of my favourite's in my closet this summer. This  Bo-ho tribal print skirt from H&M is just what I need to feel pretty, comfortable and at ease.
What have been your go-to summer favourites??

Thank you Friday...

knit tank: H&M/ white jeans: Urban Behavior
Thank you Friday for...
  1. Allowing me to catch a 2 hour nap after dropping Cole off at daycare this morning.  It's nice having Fridays off from work just in case I didn't have a good night sleep.
  2. Being able to watch old music vids circa 1998-2000 on Youtube. When music videos were worth watching.  Ahhhh yess, the old Nsync, Britney Spears and BSB days. Love it!
  3. Warm sunny weather
  4. Date night with the boyfriend
  5. For just being Friday

Pink Wednesday...

Tank top:  H&M/ shorts and sandals: Forever21/ sunnies: Urban Outfitters
So I'm feeling pretty horrible and let down today for neglecting my blog for this long! ALOT has happened in the past couple weeks that has enabled me from keeping active on LalaGerogia and commenting on some of your own posts!  Last week was hectic as I went on two interviews for an internship postion.  As luck may have it,   I finally landed one!  A Public Relations internship with a really great company that I'll tell you more about tomorrow! As for today's outfit and what better way to cheer me up in the middle of the week is my neon pink tank top from H&M
The colour is reminiscent of my pink Zara pullover, seen here.  Not to sound too Dr. Seuss but everything feels better in pink, don't you think?  LOL.

Mix & Match

shorts: H&M/sweater: Thrifted/ sandals: Forever 21/ Sunnies: Urban Outfitters

Simplicity and contrast was the name of my game today, when I decided to have some fun and get creative with different prints. I find this look easygoing and comfortable but interesting to the eye at the same time.  I'm a wee bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to mixing patterns.  However, I try to keep in mind that fashion has no rules; it's suppose to be fun and daring and exhibit the best individual representation of yourself.  Am I right?
